Santa coming in on a barge!

This wknd we went to the Lake Anne Jingle festival. The kids petted the petting zoo animals, decorated gingerbread cookies & fed the ducks in the water. Btw - red icing + Owen = a huge yet adorable mess! Morgan was eating her cookie so delicately. Owen, not so much. Ha.

Right when both kids decided they were starving we saw Santa making his way across the lake on a barge. It was hilarious! We don't really emphasize Santa too much in our house and prefer to call him St. Nicholas if we do. But it sure was fun to see the big red guy boating in.

Afterward we went to Uncle Julio's for a little taste of home & Tex-Mex. it was gorgeous outside so we ate on the patio while the kids "accidentally" dropped chips to the birds ;)
