Morgan went on a playdate with Shana and 2 little boys. She must have really loved playing with them in the dirt and grass...or at least her clothes and face looked like it!!

Splash time with Addison

The girls took some time to get used to each other but definitely had a good time together in the bath! Addison had some fun toys Morgan has never played with before and it was fun to watch her learn from Addison :)

I have no idea how but these are the ONLY pictures I got all wknd. Even when the next day we both brought the girls out of our rooms and they were wearing the exact same shirt! No pics of that :( Boo.

Road trip

This wknd we went to Houston for 2 showers, our nephews baby dedication and meeting a friends new baby! It was a busy wknd like always and we didn't get to see everyone but we had a good time. Morgan got a new friend for the car ride...she's a fan of this puppy that says her name!!

Sticker for baby!

Morgan loves her new legos...but really loves the stickers that came with them. We have eyeball stickers everywhere! After work she decided to give mommy and daddy stickers and she couldn't leave out the baby! So she put two stickers right on my belly :) Jarid asked if she put them on where the baby's eyes are. Ha!

Snow - sorta

Dallas was predicted to get 2-3 inches of snow. We couldn't wait because we knew one little toddler who would have loved it! Well...it came down in our area but barely any stuck :( I saw pictures of our friends just a few miles north in the 'burbs with enough to make snowmen!! Downtown living...

Christmas time!

Wow. Was Christmas time amazing this year. I keep saying that but it's so true. I loved every minute of our time off together and watching it all through Morgan was just unbelievable. It does make me think more and more about how life for Mary must have been while raising Jesus and knowing who He was. The love I have for Morgan is so overwhelming..it must have been 100 fold for Mary!

Jarid's parents came to visit a few days before Christmas and then my mom came to visit on Christmas day. It was so nice to get to be around family but to also have Christmas morning with just the three of us. We videoed her coming down the stairs to her open dollhouse. The first thing she did was sit on one of the "rooms" and say "Seat!" Goof! We could have given her a present everyday for a week and she would have been just fine with that...we had to pull her away from her toys to open the other gifts. We are definitely trying to keep the gifts to a minimum and make sure she (and our future kids) know that Jesus is the reason for Christmas!
