Memorial day wknd

Boat time! Don't you just loooooove summertime and all that comes with it - sun, boats, water, ice cold beer, watermelon, bbq and just about everything else I love in life :) We had a great time and the kids were loving it. Well, maybe Owen didn't *love* the cold water but he got used to it and Morgan sure loved it!

I swear he gets cuter everyday!

Miss M fell asleep on the ride back

Aquarium

As usual...we went to the aquarium for a playdate. We love that place. And these kids :)

Sand art

New art group post. This time, sand art! So fun.

Great wolf lodge

Ok. I can't say enough good things about this place. We took Morgan there for her 3rd birthday for two nights. What better place for our little half fish? Owen started really walking just a few days before and it was perfect timing! They LOVED it! The little kids area had wave runners, squirt guns, buckets that fill with water and dump, a wave pool, kiddie slides, and so many other fun things to do in water. On dry land they had a magi quest game where you use a wand to make statues light up and talk, treasure chests open and stars all along the hallway light up. Oh it was so much fun!

The wolf would howl when the wave pool would start and no matter where we were Morgan would RUN over there! Thank goodness she had a life vest on. She would run off with Honey or Daddy or whoever was available to do the next activity. It was the best time. Owen did great and took naps either on us or back at home when Jarid would go to check on the dogs.

At night they had storytime and after they taught us the "wolf howl" so we could get some characters to come out to meet us. Morgan loved it and still does this around the house randomly. hee hee.

He spent the night back at the house b/c of the dogs adn Owen went with him. So, we had our own little mini girlie vacation with just Morgan, Honey and me. We all passed out early every night and slept in the morning - we were exhausted ;) In the good way! We can't wait to go back...except this time it'll probably be the Virginia one. ha! And we're going to have to since both our and Honey's water proof disposable camera didn't work. Boo.

Go Rangers Go!!!

Nothing says American like baseball!! We took the kids to their first Rangers game and it was SO so much fun! We didn't anticipate it being a sold out game since it was at Thursday 1pm. Guess the Rangers are just doing that well this season.

Our seats were up at the top but in the shade so it was perfect - it's already HOT here! Morgan loved every bit of it and was screaming "Go Rangers Go!!" and singing the chants by the end of it. Owen had a great time too and even took a little nap on Jarid. I couldn't believe he could sleep through all that noise. He didn't wake up until they hit a home run and the place went wild and fireworks went off. Watching Morgan's face during that was priceless. Our friend Danny came with us and our other friends Ruben & Pam were there too. There were SO many school kids there for field trips. They left early so we all took their spot at the very top which was the perfect place for the kids to look out at the city and then back at the ball game.

Our tickets game with passes to the Kid Zone but we never ended up using them because the kids had so much fun watching the game. Next time though because we'll definitely be going back :)
