Christmas jingle

The mall had some fun Christmas programs and we took Morgan to one to sign, play and shake some Jingle Bells

Ms. Cuteness had a ball taking these egg shakers in and out of the bin!

Christmas party and tree shopping

Well these got uploaded out of order and I'm way too lazy to re-do them. We went to the Mother's Assoc Christmas party and did some arts, crafts and bounced in a bounce house for the first time! Morgan didn't so much bounce as she did sit there while other kiddos bounced around her. She loved walking around and looking at the other kids and the Christmas decorations. Later that day we finally got our Christmas tree! Morgan was a huge help while we picked out the perfect one! When we got home we put on Christmas music and decorated it together. She was squealing and having such a great time. Christmas time with a toddler is just amazing...every morning she still wakes up and insists we put the lights on and then says "WHOA!" like she's never seen it before. It's adorable and really reminds us of the true meanings of Christmas.

Family photos :)

We took our yearly family photos with my good friend Amber a few weeks ago. Morgan ended up taking a late nap that day and we had to wake her for the pictures. Didn't exactly equal a happy cheery Morgan plus it had gotten alot colder throughout the day and the poor girl was shivering. Somehow Amber still managed to get some great shots though even if Morgan wasn't her normal smiley, happy go lucky self!

Amber has a blog at http://www.golightlyimages.blogspot.com/ if you want to check out her photography :) She's great! I'm excited to get them printed and framed!

SMU Lighting Ceremony

Every year since it opened SMU has held a Christmas lighting ceremony. This is the first time we've ever gone and it was so neat! Singing carols, listening to the Biblical Christmas story by the SMU president and then watching everything light at once was awesome. We went with Kerry and Jason and even though it was cold and they ran out of hot chocolate right before our turn to get some we had a great time!

Christmas cupcakes

I have a Christmas party this afternoon with my wonderful friends from church so we decorated some cupcakes together. Morgan was a big help putting on the sprinkles. When we were done she and Daddy got to decorate their own to eat - good thing these aren't going anywhere because I think her hands "accidentally" got into the icing more than once!

Happy 2nd birthday Greyson!

Birthday boy Greyson is turning 2 later this month! We went to his fun trains, planes and automobiles party. The kids had crafts to do and of course yummy treats to eat. I don't think anyone was without blue frosting on their face. Ha. Of course the house was decorated adorably by Jenn seeing how she runs her own party decorating business! Check her out at http://www.bellagreydesigns.com/. She's so creative and always thinking of new things to make every party unique! We had a great time and Morgan loved playing with all the Christmas decorations at the house.

Storytime with santa

Shana took Morgan to the mall to have storytime with Santa. She walked her all around to see the pretty lights and to get her ready to sit for the story. However Morgan was way more interested in walking than she was in Santa. Ha. she did get a pic with the big ol' guy - probably as close as we'll ever worry about her being to him anyways :)

Walking in the cemetary

We have a civil war memorial cemetary next door to us and a Catholic one across the street. We love walking in there! There are no cars driving through and lots of things to look at. Morgan loves walks more than just about anything right now so we try to take one in the morning together then one with daddy and the dogs on the evening everyday! She loved playing in the leaves this day as you can see!
