The Easter bunny visited us and hid the baskets around the house. The kids found the baskets then emptied them out to find their eggs. Ours were in the shape of cupcakes and had fun little candies in them (thanks Sugar/Mom/Teresa!) and the kids had a blast looking for them. They hid them and hunted them about 50x that day and we all got a turn to hunt. Owen kept saying "more cake!" meaning he wanted to find more cupcakes. So cute. Morgan would say "look here bud!" when she would find one. They got a bit creative with their hiding them after a while too. We talked about the meaning of Easter and the importance of what Christ did for us. Not the easiest topic to discuss with toddlers for sure. And their adorable new outfits were provided by Sugar and Papa. And that sweet bunny hat Peyton is wearing? My friend Sarah made it. Isn't it the cutest thing??
