Happy third birthday!!!

One special little lady turned THREE today. I mean...blink....how did that happen?? She's great. Like the best daughter anyone could ask for. She's loving, adorable, smart, fun, creative, thoughtful, funny, and a million other adjectives I don't have time to write out. Having her as our daughter has transformed our life in the most amazing way. I'm thankful everyday to be her mommy (which is what she still calls me and daddy for Jarid - no mom and dad here!!)

Randomly she'll say to us "ahhh, thanks mommy...you're my BEST mommy" or "daddy you're my best friend" (and interchange our names and other adjectives for best like sweet little mommy, or cute little daddy - it's so sweet!) She says sweet things to Owen too - I just love watching them in the mornings and them running to each other to hug (and eventually tackle to the ground. Ha!)

To celebrate we went to the arboretum (tradition!) with Honey and Owen. Jarid was travelling so he said his birthday wishes the day before and over the phone that day. We had a great time getting a sneak preview of the Chihuly exhibit at the arboretum and watching Owen attempt to walk everywhere. She had a great time.

That night we had a small birthday get together. We purposely didn't have a party since we were going to Great Wolf Lodge the next week. But my mom and I threw together a small little celebration with pizza, cupcakes and ice cream. It was fun and Morgan loved being the center of attention. We missed Jarid though and waited to give Mo her bday gift from us til he was home - a fun new kiddie pool with an elephant spray nose!!
