How to make green pancakes

Growing up my mom would make green pancakes on St. Patty's day. It was also my brother's birthday and more often then not it was spring break too. Trifecta for a kid! Sometimes we'd be camping and get to eat green pancakes - man, that was fun! I've been making them for my kids too ever since and love this cute little tradition! So, here is how you make them:

1 cup pancake mix
1 egg
1 tbsp oil
2/3 cup milk
1 adorable 2.5 yr old helper
and a couple drops of green food coloring

1. Gather all your ingredients and helper

2. Place all ingredients in the bowl. Stare at ingredients.

3. Add green food coloring and stir.

4. More stirring.

5. Put pancakes on hot skillet. Stare at remaining ingredients.

6. Taste test the batter.

7. Flip!

8. Place on green plate (of course!)

9. Enjoy!

10. More enjoying!

11. Share with your brother! (every day, not just when having green pancakes!)
